The Community Breast Care Project providesbreast models to high schools in Cole, Callaway,Miller, Moniteau, Morgan and Osage counties. “Tostress the importance of self-examination, thesemodels are provided in hope they will beincorporated into the schools personal-healthcurricula.”

“The breast models contain lumps, masses, andareas that feel like a lump but are simply densetissue. A volunteer nurse practitioner is available totrain the school nurses along with the teachers onhow to use these breast models.

Money raised at the events highlighted in thisbrochure help offset the cost of providing this greatservice to the young people in our community.
